PAGINGThe digital receivers from Swissphone are distributed by AEG Belgium for use on the ASTRID network. Customers using the Astrid Network (mainly Belgian fire brigades) need the paging alarming systems to be able to alert different teams of volunteer firemen in case of fire or medical emergency alert. In cooperation with the company CIT, AEG Belgium engineered such a specific system, PageAllSys, which has been validated by ASTRID. AEG Belgium is also a subcontractor for the roll-out and the maintenance of the ASTRID paging network by Tecnotree. Having been rewarded the paging contract by ASTRID in 2006, AEG Belgium has sold over 5000 pagers and dozens of alarming software on the Belgian market.
